Lainey Bug's 4th Birthday!

Oh my, another blog post! Yeah that's right, I am on a roll! Wahoo!!
So, Lainey has been 4 now for *cough* just a little while :). Here are pics from her birthday. We invited the Villasenor and Jackson kids over for cake and ice cream. We didn't do anything big this year because her birthday was also finals week for me. I am just glad that I remembered a cake :).

Halloween 2011

So yes, I know, I am a slacker...I am really going to try and get this up to date though! So here we go: This first post is of Halloween. I slacked at that as well and don't have any pics of Lainey. She was a kitty. I do however have her with kitty face paint from the Aker's Annual Halloween Extravaganza so that should count for something right?!

Lainey's first sport!

Of course I got roped into being the "coach's helper" which basically meant that I was the coach when the coach didn't want to show up or was late (which was A LOT)! Lainey really loved it at first, but by the end of the season she was so done, I was done, and frankly the whole team was DONE! 3 and 4 year old's playing sports is hilarious and fun, but a lot of work! Here are some of the fun pics!

Has it been THAT long?!! OOPS!

As many of you know, my mom (Barb) is living us right now. Not only do the kids get lots of "grammy time" they also get LOTS and LOTS of time with animals! The kids (and I) have loved it!

It should be a surprise to no one that Lainey is a "natural" at riding and all she wants to do is RUN on her...we are working up to that!

Ethan is really enjoying Dancer as well, here he is trotting on her!

Lainey LOVES to stir Dancer's mush..it's part of her daily morning routine. Lainey goes every morning with Grammy Barb to feed Dancer and to play with the new barn kitties. It's little kid heaven out at the stables!

Unlike her mom, Lain doesn't mind getting dirty!

We brought Dancer to Lainey's school for show and tell. She was a hit!
